What is the difference between a fix and flip loan and a DSCR loan?

A fix and flip loan is short-term financing for purchasing and renovating a property to sell or refinance. A DSCR loan is long-term financing for a rental property, qualified using the property's rental income rather than a short-term exit.

Yes. Many investors use a DSCR loan as the long-term takeout financing once a fix and flip renovation or new construction project is complete and the property is rented or ready to rent.
